Rheem Manufacturing Company began in the mid-1920s. Brothers Richard and Donald Rheem purchased a galvanizing plant in California and by the 1930’s, Rheem started making water heaters. In the 1940s and 1950s, the company added space heaters, oil furnaces and air conditioners.

In 1959, the Rheem Corporation purchased the RUUD Corporation, making Rheem one of the largest HVAC equipment manufacturers in the world. Rheem manufactures all types of heating and air conditioning equipment and your friends at Elite Heating and Air are qualified to service and maintain Rheem products.
